No smoking, food or beverages are allowed in the visitation area.īecause the jail houses a wide variety of personalities, jail staff will deny a visit if sexually suggestive or inappropriate clothing is worn.A visitor may only visit with one inmate at a time.(Contraband is anything jail staff has not authorized or issued, such as weapons, drugs, tobacco, lighters, food, papers or sharp objects.) If you do, you are subject to arrest and/or prosecution. Do not attempt to bring contraband into the building or visiting area.Violators of this rule may be subject to arrest and/or prosecution. Do not tamper with, damage, mark or soil the visitation cameras, monitors or handsets or any jail property.Follow the directions of visitation officers and jail staff at all times.Anyone who is under the visible influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to visit.Disobedient children and their parent/guardian will be asked to leave. Children are not to be left in a vehicle without adult supervision. ![]() Children age 12 or younger must be supervised at all times. Jail staff will not care for your children. Do not leave your children alone or with a stranger or anyone younger than 18 years of age. Do not leave children unattended in the lobby or on the front steps at any time.Behave in a manner that does not threaten the safety, security and order of the Corrections Center.Abide by dress standards and requirements.Adults visiting with a child must present a birth certificate or proper photo identification for the child. Check in with visitation counselor and show an official, acceptable picture ID.Jail staff will end your visit and may deny future visits if you violate any of these visitor rules: No more than two people may visit an inmate at one time under any circumstances. Children age 17 or under may visit an inmate if accompanied by a parent or legal custodian/guardian. However, two adults may visit an inmate if they are the inmate’s parents or grandparents. One adult may visit an inmate at one time. Inmates are allowed one 30-minute visit per week, Tuesday through Saturday. Be prepared to show photo identification before the visit can take place. You must arrive in the front lobby of the Corrections Center 10 minutes before your scheduled visit.Visitors with active warrants will not be allowed to visit. A complete warrant check will be done on each visitor. ![]() If the visitor speaks to a live person on the phone, no confirmation call will be made. The visitation counselor will return your call to confirm your visit within 24 hours, except Sunday and Monday. (Because there are no visits on Sunday or Monday, Tuesday visits must be arranged by Saturday.) If you reach the Correction Center’s voice mail, please leave your name, name of inmate, proper spelling of both names, your date of birth, your Social Security number, a phone number where you can be reached, and the time and day you want to visit. Visits can be scheduled by calling 41 no sooner than six days and no later than one day before the visit is to take place.
